: We wanted to stay close to Retiro and prefer apartment like accommodation to hotels.So we chose Genteel-Home Atocha.As we were arriving quite late they provided us with a phone number to call them when we arrived at the airport. Worked pretty smooth and when we arrived at the apartment we were handed the keys and everything was explained to us.Location is great as metro station is just around the corner and Retiro park just a few minutes to walk. Museums are close as well.The apartment was exceptionally clean and got everything you need and expect.There are two bedrooms (one with double bed, one with two single beds), each with attached bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Living room with large TV and Wifi.You're living on the sixth floor but there's an elevator.And especially in summer you really appreciate the aircon.The flat isn't that spacious but definitely ok for 3 or 4 people. And you don't come to Madrid to spent the whole time in an apartment.We were really satisfied and would definitely recommend the place.

: Very practical layout, great location, very clean and nicely designed.
: Our host was 45 minutes late (due to traffic), the apartment only have small windows and they face towards internal spaces and not outside. Beds were not very comfortable.

: Electricity tripped out several times on the first day, but it has been fixed late at night.
