: The location is perfect to explore Madrid and convenient to reach the landmarks by foot or whatever transport you choose. Malasana is a brewing neighborhood with bars and restaurants and cafeterias galore, small convenience stores and a friendly atmosphere overall. The property was spacious as i stayed in a two-bedroom flat. I had windows and a view of the streetWhich is pleasant ( although sometimes noisy, specially weekends). As i stayed 2 weeks i could foresee when parties would be going on throughout the night. But air conditioning helped to ameliorate the noise.
: Lots of things. First of all, the furniture was very weird - there was a out-of-proportion penguin statue on the dining table as a decorative object (???)!! - and nothing colorful overall. The double bed was placed in room 1 where there was no cupboard or whatever drawers to put your clothes, as in room 2there was a cupboard and two single beds. Tasteless decoration in both. Even the picasso-like mirror would distort your image Living room: sofa-bed was slipping apart all the time ;Kitchen: very badly furnished, if i had in mind to cook a decent meal i would find only one small kitchen knife, not even a toaster , pair of scissors, mixer or blender whatsoever, just one unique kitchen towel , no coffee machine ( just an used italian style coffee maker which leaked and had a broken handle after two days ( was replaced by an exact one).Bathroom ( and last but not least!) extremely dangerous (specially) for older folks as bathtub is slippery ( of course no security gadgets such asHandles or rubber mats to put inside the bathtub) and to use the shower you would have to rehearse a fewMovements in order to stabilize your balanceInside the bathtub. Took me a couple of days to manage.Nowhere i could spot hooks to hang a purse or a hat or a towel properly.No smart tv. Not one carpet, not a chair in the bedroomsBottom line:for the value charged this flat could use some common sense to be refurbished without spending a fortune. Some items would be welcome in the flat Specially in The Kitchen and the bathroom - instead of weird objects hanging on the walls.
